Adventures are the best way to learn.
Third night, and fourth night <3 Good Morning! Since this is our last day in Playa Tropical Resort Hotel, we could explore and try the activities there. But first, lemme have a breakfast. ^^ My friends <3 After we eat, we explore the place. Since we have our projects for this tour we should do it in here. Our project is to take the picture of the resort and its facilities. And, we must interview the Front desk clerk about the Resort. There are the pictures. Playa Tropical Resort Hotel is a much visit place. If you want to feel the nature. Go here with your family. A perfect place to enlighten your mind, and to relax.. :) After we interview the clerk, and to take some pictures! Its time for us to enjoy! Swimming time <3 We enjoyed this place so much! I can't wait to get back here with my family <3 Unfortunately, it was time to leave the place :( But, its okay! Paoay Church is coming.. The Saint Augustine Church, commonly known as the Paoay Church, is the Roman Catholic church of the municipality of Paoay, Ilocos Norte in the Philippines. Completed in 1710, the church is famous for its distinct architecture highlighted by the enormous buttresses on the sides and back of the building. It is declared as a National Cultural Treasure by the Philippine government in 1973 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site under the collective group of Baroque Churches of the Philippines in 1993. To be continue..

September 2014 Day 2 Good morning! Rise and Shine folks! @Playa Topical Resort Hotel It's 6 AM. All set. Fresh, hairs up, Clothes on, Shoes on, of course make ups on! Time to eat some breakfast <3 Hi guys, start your day with a smile :) Me and my Girlfriends having our breakfast at the nipa hut in Playa. The food was good <3 Food, food, food <3.<3 FOOD! <3 Egg+Tocino+Pandesal+Coffee+Juice= Happy tummy <3 Kain? :D Time to leave the Playa Tropical for now. We're going to visit different places in Ilocos <3 Cape Bojeador Lighthouse located at Ilocos Norte. Our first destination in the second day is the Cape Bojeador Light house also known as the Burgos Light house. Dubbed as the tallest lighthouse in the Philippines. 164 steps to climb up to the Lighthouse. You can also view the South China Sea. Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is situated on the top of a hill. Before, the lighthouse of Cape Bojeador serves as a station point for ships towards the Pacific Coast heading towards the Babuyan Island. But, before climbing up! Lemme take a selfie. Behind me is the South China Sea, I'm almost on the top. You can see already the beautiful land of Ilocos. What more if I'm on the top of the lighthouse? Me and TB taking a picture with the Burgos Lighthouse. When we're climbing the Lighthouse, me and my friends wanted to count each steps. But, when we're in the middle of 50's its kinda hard -.- Because, it was so very steep and it's tiring -.- But, we're not giving up. Step, step, step, step.. Then.. Whaaaaaaaaaa <3 Finally, we're on the top! ^_^ When you are going to Cape Bojeador Lighthouse, you need to ride a Tricycle to climb up in the hill where the Lighthouse is situated. It cost 50 pesos per tricycle. So you should be 4-5 person when riding it. The barangay Burgos usually collecting the fees to preserve the Lighthouse. More pictures in Cape Bojeador Lighthouse! :) Next top, Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. The Kapurpurawan rock formation is located on the rocky coast of Burgos, Ilocos Norte. It is known for its creamy white and streamlined limestone formations, which have been sculpted by different oceanic and weather forces. Burgos is located on the northwestern tip of Ilocos Norte. Kapurpurwan rocks are rock formations created by forces of the ocean on the rocky coast of Burgos, located just a few minutes further from the lighthouse. The word kapurpurawan is Ilocano word "Puraw" which means White. Hi! I'm in Kapurpurawan Rock Formation, behind me is the South China Sea. When you're going here in the Rock Formation you need to walk for 10 minutes, I guess? That day was so hot, so I invite almar to rent a horse to ride on. They offer a Horse back riding for rent. Its such a beautiful experience, unfortunately I don't have pictures with the Horse. But it was a awesome! Try it for 150 pesos. And its back and forth already. :) Our next destination, (Drum roll please?) It's in Bangui, Wind Mills <3 One of my dream places wants to visit. I'm stunned and amaze. I'm so happy. :) In Bangui, windmills we took so many pictures. We capture every moment that we're here, It was so big! :) They have 20 windmills here in Bangui, and they build this to generate electricity for the province of Ilocos. It was the biggest wind turbines in Southeast Asia. And it was the symbol of Ilocos already, right? They also have souvenir shops here, and it was cheaper too. :) Look at my pictures, I'm almost dancing. :) It's almost lunch time! :) Time to eat at Villa del Mar. Villa del Mar is situated along Pagudpud beach. Located in Ilocos Norte. Can't wait for the food <3 Before we eat we take a picture in the arc of Pagudpud. Unfortunately, we we're not able to go there. But our tour guide said that in Villa del Mar, you can also view the beautiful beach of Pagudpud. Pagudpud beach is one of the famous beach here in the Philippines. Like Boracay it also have a white sand beach, palm trees and a very clean water. Malacañang of the North After the lunch, our next top is Malacañang of the North also known as Malacañang ti Amianan before it was owned by Ferdinand Marcos It was designed in a Spanish and Old Ilocano architecture. The whole mansion is decorated by antique furniture and interesting art pieces. As we all know Ilocos Norte is home of many remnants of the former President Ferdinand E. Marcos and of one these is Malacañang of the North. Malacañang of the North is within a 5-hectare property that overlooks Paoay Lake, and is the residence of late president Ferdinand Marcos and his family when they are in the north. Some pictures inside the Malacañang of the North. (Photo credit by: Jennelle Daraman) All of the students and coordinators take a pictures in the Balcony of the Malacañang of the North. Our next destination is the Ferdinand Marcos Presidential Center. Located in Batac City. Batac is a city in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Batac is known as the "Home of Great Leaders", as it is the hometown of many significant figures in the history of the Philippines. Among them is the former Philippine president Ferdinand Marcos. We first entered the Marcos Museum. The museum integrates both memorabilia storage and the current resting place of Ferdinand Marcos. The museum shows memorabilia of the late president, from his stint in the armed forces down to his presidency. The large and solemn mausoleum contains the glass-encased coffin in which Marcos' embalmed body has been on public display since shortly after his remains were brought home in 1993. Some memorabilia's inside the museum. Photo credit: Jennelle Daraman Ferdinand Marcos Mausoleum. At first, I feel so nervous. This is my first time to see a dead with his complete flesh. Marcos museum is stored in a very cold place. When I entered the place, it was bit creepy, all the walls are black. The lights are only in Marcos body. You are not allowed to take any picture inside. It was strict, and it will cause you a big problem if you do it. Some people say that the body is just a wax replica, and the real body is secretly buried in the ground. After that, our tour guide take us to the Riverside Empanadaan, where the famous empanada is made. Ma'am Mackay said that we should try it, and we did. It was delicious, i taste so many ingredients like chorizo, egg, toge, longganinsa and many more. After we eat, one of awaiting activity <3 Sand dunes :))) We we're going to, La paz located in Laoag. 4 x 4 is waiting for us! :D Can't wait.. The La Paz Sand Dunes or Bantay Bimmaboy consists of an area of approximately 85 square kilometers of protected sandy coastal desert and beach close to Laoag City, the capital of the province of Ilocos Norte in the Philippines. The area is known locally by the name Bantay Bimmaboy, a name which refers to the common perception that the dunes resemble pigs in shape. The area is also popularly known as the Desert of the North and is a popular location for shooting films. One of the film that is being shoot there is Panday, played by Ferdinando Poe Jr. When its our turn, all I can do is shout loud as I can do! <3 It was absolutely fun! You have to try this in Ilocos <3 You never complete your trip without trying it. Other activity such as ATV ride, sand boarding are also available here! I tried the Sand boarding, and what an experience. :) Thanks god that I got down safely. :D Unfortunately, we arrived very late.. We can ride the 4x4 as much as we want, but its too dark and the driver said that its dangerous.. One of our remembrance <3 It's dinner time :) Bye, bye La paz :( We're going to eat in "La Preciosa". La Preciosa isn't just a restaurant but also it serves as a Cafe. They offer a different kinds of food, also the Ilocos dish. One of the dish that I tried is the Puqui-puqui (Puki-puki) it taste good, and it was made in Eggplant. The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, it was like an Old house but it is classy! After we finished our meals. It's time for us to get back in the Hotel.. On our way home, some students requested to go in the Paoay Church. So, the facilitators agreed. Rhandie said that if you arrive in the Chuch for the first time, you should knock at the door and wish. So, we tried it. And I hope, my wish will do come true. :) Since that night is our fellowship night. We we're having a party! A simple party that the officer organized, with a game, and a talent portion. This party is to develop our friendship with the other campus. Our fellowship night.. After the party, we are all tired.
So, we rest peacefully. Goodnight <3 Day 3, and 4th Night! Soon.. Tired of waiting for this blog? Your wait is over! So, here it is <3 Hope you'll like it! A comment and a message will do. Thanky! :* Spread the love <3 <3 <3 When we say ILOCOS, the Windmills are usually comes in our mind. So, Windmills or Wind turbines in Bangui, Ilocos Norte are the biggest in Southeast Asia. They have 20 Beautiful windmills which resemble giant electric fans. they build this to generate electricity up to a maximum of 1.65 Megawatts for a total of 24.75 Megawatts. The 20 turbines are lined up along an arc manner following the shoreline of Bangui bay facing the South China Sea, at the Northwest tip of Luzon Island. September 2014 First Night.. Whoooh! Hi ilocos, bye Manila for a bit. Our travel will start at the evening (Our first night). So, at 8 PM we should arrive in our meeting place which is in Sangandaan. My mother, my sister and my niece accompany me in the meeting place. The time has come (for my dreams to be heard, they will not be pushed aside and turned into your own all cause you won't, Listeeeeen! HAHAHAHA Charaught!) So, the time has come to ride in the bus. I accompany my mother, my sister, and my niece to go home. (Glad that my family comes home safely) So, our travel begins.. But first, we should go to the North Campus to fetch the rest of the Tourism students. Our first stop over happened in the middle of the night, me and my friends take off to pee and buy somethings. We decided to buy starbucks coffee to enlighten our sleepy mind.. Day 1 Hello Ilocos <3 Good Morning! :) Our first breakfast in Ilocos <3 Held at California Grill and Sports Bar. We took some pictures here also. California Grill and Sports Bar California Grill and Sports Bar is located in Ilocos Sur and it has a Swimming pools, a children's playground, function rooms, picnic sheds, and offer tours services. We explore the place, and it was beautiful, a lot of trees are scattered in the place. It has a beautiful scenery <3 BALUARTE Our first destination, the BALUARTE <3 The Baluarte or fortress is a must-see attraction for first time visitors. The reasons for its being on the list of places to visit are two. First is that it has a mini zoo with animals from other countries and others endemic to the Philippines. It is a private collection and is therefore continuously being improved. The second reason is that it is owned by Mr. Chavit Singson, a well-loved son of Vigan and well-known to most Filipinos and foreigners who follow the Philippine political scene. I'm amazed in there life-sized statue of different Dinosaurs, peaceful place, and it has a very clean surroundings. I saw a lot of Caterpillar, its scattered in everywhere. OMG! Goosebumps! Ewwwww. When we explore the place, I've seen a lots of Animals, like Ostrich, Parrot, Snake, and Tiger <3 On the entrance of Baluarte you can see the Parrots and some other birds already. (Photo credit: Almar Yang Orsolino) Have you ever experience a one-on-one close up with a Tiger? OMG another first time <3 Meet "Mimi" (I just named it with myself) one of the Tiger of Mr. Chavit Singson. In Baluarte, they offer a Pony ride and its free! Me and Almar tried it, and it was amazing! We're like a Señor and Señorita! :) More pictures here in Baluarte <3 Pagburnayan After the Baluarte, next top: Pagburnayan :) Located in Ilocos Sur, one of the famous pottery maker is Mr. Fidel Go. He taught us how the Jar and other stuff is made. He also ask some questions and he will give you a souvenir if your answer is correct. Tourist can also experience pottery making with their bare hands for free. But since we're running out of time. We don't have time to try it. In Pagburnayan, you can also buy a souvenir that is most cheaper compared to those stores in Calle Crisologo. After the Pagburnayan, our third destination is in Crisologo Museum located in Ilocos Sur. Crisologo Museum is an ancestral house owned by the clan which Vigan's famous Calle Crisologo is named after. Floro S. Crisologo was the patriarch of the clan and a congressman known for being responsible for landmark legislations that not only benefited his constituents but the whole country as well. He authored the laws behind the creation of the North’s first state university, the University of Northern Philippines, and the establishment of the Social Security System, which serves the whole working populace to this day. On a Sunday in October 1970, while he was inside the St. Paul’s Cathedral, Congressman Crisologo was shot in the head by a still unidentified gunman. Survived by his children and wife, Carmeling Crisologo, the family announced that they will not take any action to exact revenge. Although, they made sure that the life and death of their patriarch will not be forgotten through the establishment of the Crisologo museum. Floro Crisologo’s murder during that bloody period in Philippine politics remains unsolved to this day. The museum is managed by the Crisologo family and is well-maintained. This is evident in the polished floors of the second floor as well as the well-kept details of the various rooms. One may enter the master’s bedroom and view private possessions and clothing as if one just intruded into an everyday scene and a member of the family might catch you looking at any time. It is interesting to know that before he was killed, the congressman was in the process of having a bill approved to abolish the death penalty because he believed that death was not the solution to stopping crime. http://www.vigan.ph/crisologo_museum.html When we exploring the place, the most marked in my mind is his death. There was a table that display his photographs when he was shot in the head. It's a bit creepy because, I don't usually look in that kind of pictures. Juan Luna Shrine is located in Ilocos Norte, it is a reconstruction of the two-storey house in which the patriot and foremost Filipino painter which is Juan Luna, born on October 24, 1857, the Original house was burned down in 1861. Next top, is Juan Luna Shrine. Unfortunately, we we're not able to go inside of the Shrine because, it was renovating. But, there was a guide who explain us the painting of Juan Luna (It was a picture of his paintings), and one of the painting who is marked in my mind is "The Parisian Life" also known as "Interior d'un Café" (meaning inside a Café) he paint it in 1892. Did you know Juan Luna? He is the painter of the famous Spoliarium or Spolarium. The Parisian Life is regarded as the last major work Luna did during his travel in Paris. The guide said that the lady is the mirror image of the Philippine archipelago. If you reversed the image, you will see the exact Philippine archipelago. Also, as you can see in the picture. Her dark neck and the placement of her head against the Joint of the window may have been intentionally done to symbolize the state of the Philippines at that time. (Parang nasasakal yung pilipinas dahil sa kalagayan nya sa panahong iyon since, yung babae sa painting ay nirere-presinta ang Pilipinas) Playa Tropical Resort Hotel One word to explain this place "WOW". After the Juan Luna Shrine, our awaited destination which is the Playa Tropical Resort Hotel is next! <3 Playa Tropical Resort Hotel is a must visit resort in Ilocos, it is located in Ilocos Norte. Its inspired of Balinese style, you can relax in truly fabulous settings, it has a charming roof villas, private pools, unique garden bathrooms and an Infinite Pool <3 When we arrived in Playa, we we're having a seminar in the evening. So our dean, gives our vin card in our correspondent room. We should take a bath, and dress presentable. FRESH! All of us are fresh enough to take a picture. Click! :) Selfie, Groufie pa more! :) We took some pictures in the function room while waiting for the others. :) After a few minutes, we have taken our dinner. The food was definitely good! I almost puked because my stomach is too full. :) #HappyTummy <3 Although, all of us are tired to attend the seminar since it is important we should have too. The seminar is all about in Ilocos, how they preserved their tourist attractions, how they advertised it, what is the importance of entrance fees, where will gonna used the fees that they collecting and how Tourism helps the province to be one of the place that we should visit here in the Philippines. One of the slogan of Ilocos that I remember is the: "Paoay Kumakaway!" Watch the video below: So the seminar takes for 2-3 hours, I think? We are so exhausted, tired and sleepy. After the seminar we go to our correspondent rooms, ofcourse! To sleep. Super tired -.- Another long day tomorrow. Goodnight! Lights Off. Day 2, and 3rd night soon! To be continue.. Since the Valentines day is near I'm gonna share my life in terms of LOVE <3 Hi! I'm Johanna, a stupid, idiot, fool in LOVE </3 Yes! I'm Stupid, Idiot, Fool. My friends calling me that, I don't know its just.. "Nagmamahal lang ako" I said. I really love him, I do. But, if that person hurt you over and over again. "Nakakasawa din" All of my efforts, my sacrifices that I gave to him. What's his return? Nothing. Again, I am Abandoned for the third, no for the fifth, no for the seventh time. He, again abandoned me. Yes, I'm the who break our relationship. But, are you going to continue even though he is not happy as well as yourself? In 3 years that we've been together. I'm the one who gets hurt </3 He is stubborn, he's pride was so high, every time that we're arguing. I'm the one who say sorry even though his fault. But not in the whole time. He is amazing, a caring, a sweet and a joker person. He is good to be with. He make me laugh all the time. His always there if I have a problem when no one else was. That's why I love him. But.. "Lagi na lang sa umpisa" It always ended in break-up. Because of his pride. Pride. Pride. Pride. Pride. Pride. Pride. Endless. We broke up last year in June 2014. November. We start communicating each other again. He said "Mahal pa rin kita" Since I'm stupid. "Mahal pa din kita" I said. We decided to be together once again. January. It end up in the same situation. It end up in the same problem. Because of his pride. Why is it happiness is only in the beginning? Why? Why? Why? Am I a bad person to be loved? I just want to be happy. But, I promised to myself that this is the LAST. I swear, this is the LAST. Again, this is the LAST. I don't wanna hurt over and over again. I want to focused more in studying. I want to graduate. I want my parents to be proud on me. I always think, "He is just a Past" "He is just a Past" "He is just a Past" But, I do believe in forever do exist <3 Of course, with the right place, right time and especially on the right person <3 Now, I am better without him. I have so many friends who's been there for me <3 Thank you guys! Boyfriend/Girlfriend is just an inspiration. Don't prioritize it! Don't let your boyfriend/girlfriend be your hindrance to your future. Keep on studying guys! "All is well" -Jmc

1 year and 5 months old. When we say "Villa Escudero", the famous "Water fall Restaurant" is immediately we think. It's known for its different kind of restaurant, because lunch is served on a bamboo ding tables set in a few inches of crystalline running water from the falls. The experience of dining on delicious local dishes with the sparkling water falls as a backdrop with clear spring water running over your feet is a truly singular and memorable experience only "Villa Escudero" can offer. Villa Escudero is located at San Pablo City of Laguna. This tour lasted only for 2 days, a little sadness was flowing in my mind, heart and my veins. HAHAHA. I thought that I'm not gonna enjoyed this tour because of the limit days that our dean set, but I was wrong. I enjoyed it a lot! Especially the foods that we've taste and eaten. I truly love FOODS <3 I am addicted to them, and I'm a Greedy person, proud to be! Are you? :) So this is the start.. March 2014 Since this is a culinary tour experience we visit different places that is connected to FOOD <3 Like, manufactory of "Longganisa" or Pork Saugage and Lambanog Distillery. Laguna is known for its "Lambanog" or Sling that is made of Coconut. While, Quezon is known for its "Longganisa" especially in Lucban. When we visit the Manufactory of Lambanog, and the Pork Sausage they teach us how Wine and Pork sausage make. Here are some pictures: Wine Distillery Dory's Lambanog is one of the famous Wine Store in Laguna, when we're here they offer some free taste of their flavored lambanog, but a little bit only, our dean, Ma'am Mackay will get angry to us if we taste it repeatedly! HAHAHA. We're allowed to buy some, but make sure you'll be able to get it home untouched. If you wish to visit laguna, don't forget to buy some Lambanog! It's delicious to them but not for me! :D Process of lambanog Longgonisa factory Lucban Longganisa is a very popular garlicky and slightly sour sausage that is similar to chorizo de bilbao, the famous garlic sausage from Spain. This longganisa originates from the town of Lucban in Quezon Province. Unfortunately, they don't have a free taste for us to taste, but you could buy it for Php 105. When we stop here in Longganisa factory, me and my classmates took a picture of course to make memory here together! :) Kamayan sa Palaisdaan Kamayan sa palaisdaan is one of my favorite restaurant that we've visit its because they served a very delicious food and it is a nature-rific and a relaxing ambiance too. I enjoyed the food so much, because seafood is there mainly dish and that is one of my favorite food! <3 We explore the place too, it has a pond where you can see the fishes that they cooked :) Kamay ni Hesus Kamay ni Hesus was a Huge place, that will show you a lot even you are just at the main entrance. Life size statues of Saints are everywhere. All of them will remind you of what you read in the bible and some mysteries we prayed in the Holy Rosary. The place has a multi-purpose hall for other activities, and they also have a place available for tourists who wanted to stay overnight or for a few days. Kamay ni Hesus is not just a place to pray but a place to remember our childhood bible. Where we first learned about Adam and Eve and Noah's Arc. This 5-hectare garden will make you experience heaven on earth with its cool, bright and solemn atmosphere. A sublime structure is the gigantic statue of Jesus standing at the top of the towering shrine along the highway towards Kamay ni Hesus. Kamay ni Hesus has a 300 step divine shrine. As you climb the shrine, you will notice that it tells the story of the Way of the cross from Jesus having his last supper with the apostles up towards his holy death and him rising from it. Villa Escudero Villa Escudero is a beautiful place to visit. Before this place is not a resort, it is only a coconut plantation. Villa Escudero is famous for there Waterfalls restaurant, it's known for its different kind of restaurant, because lunch is served on a bamboo ding tables set in a few inches of crystalline running water from the falls. The experience of dining on delicious local dishes with the sparkling water falls as a backdrop with clear spring water running over your feet is a truly singular and memorable experience only "Villa Escudero" can offer. Also, it has a many activities, attraction like Museum, activities that they offer like, Bamboo rafting, Sports and recreational activities like swimming, biking, bird watching, dancing performance, etc. In Villa Escudero, the employees are living inside the Villa, they also have a church inside, it looks like they have a Mini Community. Amazing right? Here are some pictures when we are here in Villa Escudero. Our first night <3 All of us are fresh! Look <3 #Girls. Look where we gonna stay. It looks like a little house. Right? It doesn't have an aircon, but its cold! :) Good morning! Rise and Shine. :) We're having our first breakfast in Villa Escudero. After that, we explore this beautiful place <3 Look at the beautiful scenery in Villa Escudero, it is a very relaxing place and it has a refreshing air. The flowers in here are beautiful, but you should not pick it up. This place is amazing, I want to live in this kind of place. Less pollution, less noise. :) Other beautiful scenery in Villa Escudero. Beautiful isn't it? The Water fall Restaurant Lunch here in there famous Waterfall Restaurant. <3 Swimming One of my favorite activity, Swimming <3 When we're here in Villa Escudero, we try almost all of their offered activities like Biking, me and my friends except dylloyd rent a Bike to explore the Villa Escudero. We visit there Church, and the Museum. It was fun! Bamboo Rafting One of the famous activity here in Villa Escudero is the Bamboo Rafting. I ride it with almar, although it was scary because there is no fence that you can hold on but it has a life jacket. It was absolutely fun! <3 Find me and almar! <3 It was a memorable experience, it just not only for fun! But you will learn too. I want to know more, experience more, gain more. Travel is to Live. You should experience what I experience, remember you only live once! Enjoy life! These are our last pictures in Villa Escudero <3 MAASIN ESCAPADE!Summer, 2011 In an unruffled rural setting in Southern Leyte, lies a city draped by remnants of its glorious past. Maasin, the capital of the province blissfully sits on the western coast and is largely not a tourist favorite. Southern, Leyte includes Limasawa. Do you know limasawa? It is an island to the south where the first Roman Catholic mass was held and considered to be the birthplace of Catholicism in the Philippines. Hi guys! This is my second blog which is called, Maasin Escapade! This province, leyte, is my Mother hometown, where her family, relative and her childhood friends was live. She grew up here until she meets my Father. Yes, I'm a "Bisaya" but, I don't really understand that much -.- A little bit only. So, I hope you'll enjoy this blog! This is the first time that me, my family and my Aunt & cousins was going to my mother's province, because, it always stays it as a Plan, but it never fulfilled until last Summer, 2011. We stay in the province for two weeks. Our Vacation begins.. May 11, 2011 #StolenPictureKuno :) I remember this day because, tomorrow is my birthday, and I celebrate it in the bus. This picture is taken from the Bus station in Cubao, because of long waiting for the bus to take off, I decided to take a "Selfie". (I quoted the word "Selfie" because, in 2011 it not yet called "Selfie" or a Self-portrait photograph. More selfie's and twofies! <3 The girl beside is my cousin Janine :) Waiting to take off the bus! I'm so excited that time! Weeee. During that time, its also cold :3 Brzz. So sorry for the fez (face), I'm still young on this time. After that, Our real schedule is 6:00AM I think the bus lives between 9-11AM I'm not that exactly sure, its been 4 years ago :( Sorry -.- I'm sorry too, for the few pictures only, I have to limit using my cellphone this time, I don't know, maybe because I have to save it to capture the beautiful scenery tomorrow -.- Hehe! During the long travel, I always sleep, eat, play on my psp, and talking with my cousin. There are also a lot of stop overs ofcourse, to eat, to buy something, and to take a pee. I remember that, we've stop on I think 6:00PM the driver said that, we should eat, and we should take all out our pee's because, there will no stop over again until we reached the Port. When we arrived at the Port at 12MD, we buy ticket and ride in the boat. After a few minutes, we ride in a ship called "Ro-ro" the bus also ride it. Unfortunately, it is dark so we can't view the beautiful sea in Leyte. Travel time for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I'm so sleepy this time, the boat is like dancing -.- I feel dizzy because of that. -_- We don't have any pictures when we are in the boat, and I feel dissapointed, the Memory card that we've used has an Virus and need to be format -_- When the boat was arrived in a pier, I'm so tired and sleepy this time. -.- May 12, 2011 I woke up at 5:00AM because, the bus need to stop over for the passenger and ofcourse for the drivers to eat something and to take a pee. After that, it was 7:00 AM when I decided to take a picture. Look how beautiful surroundings on our way to Maasin :) It's my birthday today, happy birthday to me! How about the Maasin Sea? :) Beautiful! <3 I think we're near at the Bus station, some passengers are already taking off! We've reached the station I think 9:00AM and we meet our Tito&Tita's! <3 My mother buy some ingredients for the spaghetti, our little "handa" for my birthday :) Since the city is not yet our real destination which is my mother's hometown, we should travel again 45 minutes to climb up the barangay Basak by motor called "Habal-Habal." "Habal-habal" Habal-Habal is a popular way of travelling in many streets of Mindanao and in some parts of Visayas. It is used especially in remote villages with rough and narrow roads. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures while riding it. Because, the cellphone is in my bag and all of our luggages our roped in the Habal-habal, so it was fun and exciting! :) Do you know that all of the roads that we've passed by is very steep. My mother said that, Barangay Basak is located mostly at the top of the mountain, but there are barangays who are higher than the location of Basak. After 45 minutes, we've reached the basak, I saw a big crowd of children who is playing in a court. When we passed by, all of the children was looking at us, they also follow us. Want to see my mother and her family house? This is not much compare with the houses in Manila, and it has a 2nd floor believe it or not! :) When we arrived at my mother house, all of the children was looking in the window. I feel celebrity this time, kidding -.- That was awkward seriously, I'm not used in this thing. We eat, we rest and we change clothes that day. My mother said that we should bathe in the river near our house since its 11AM only. And we did, but we explore far in our house, and far in the river that we should bathe. There are two children who join us while exploring, the other was Morley our tour guide and he know how to speak tagalog as well. While we're exploring, I took some pictures all of the scenery we've passed by. It looks like we're in the middle of the forest, and we are -.- Yes! We're in the middle of the forest, my cousin Janine wants to back out and my sister too -.- "Nakakatakot daw" since I am an Adventurous person and wants to experience some dangerous things. I persuade them to go with us because there is no person, except them, wants to go home. So we continue exploring. Deeper, and deeper in the forest! Awesome right? :) We've passed a river, and it looks good to bathe. And we tried. We also have pictures while trying it. Part of the stream was deep, especially on that little falls, we need to hold on in that tree to check if it is deep. So it was -_- So, we planned to go further to find a better river to swim. The second stream was good. It has a Mini falls, and the water is much clearer than in the first river. Look how happy are we to enjoy this beautiful river. Another first time in my life! <3 After enjoying this river, we decided to go home. And we eat spaghetti, my "Handa" for my birthday. Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days passed.. I'm used to live in Basak, you know what? All of the children are my friends already. When we woke up, me and my cousins go to the river everyday. As in, everyday! I have so many friends, I'm closed with my tito and tita's here, my cousins in here also. There was a time, that me, my friends and my cousins are exploring the basak, we're walking in a stream but suddenly my feet hurt. "Na-bubog ako" :'( My heart melt, when Morley, remember? Our tour guide, Treated my wound using a leaves (I don't know the name) to stop the bleeding. And it work! Wow, right? :) There was a time also, that I join hunting Catfish or "Hito" in tagalog. I was amazed because, these are children. They caught 3 Catfish, I'm amazed how they caught it, how silent are they to caught it, and how seriously are they, to caught it. Look how ugly I am -.- HAHAHAHA. Look at the Catfish, there are still alives. Amazing right? In front of our house there was a stage, this is used to held a program like, singing contest. When the barangay conducted a Singing Contest, I'm a guest performer, I'm going to dance! I AM SHY, I AM. But, I have to overcome my fear. So, here I was. (Sorry for the blurred picture) Days passed, in 2 days we're going home. :( #Sadlife. Before going home, my mother and my relatives planned to go swimming in the famous falls and Cave in Maasin called Guinsohotan falls and Cagnituan Cave. At the top of the falls, there was a cave. Guinsohotan falls and Cagnituan Cave are one the most visited nature sites because of its twin experience, the cave with its subterranean river and the inviting pool of the water falls. WOW, as in WOW! :) It's a very nature scenery <3 As I experienced, the water in the falls was very cold and refreshing. I need a "salbabida" (lifebuoy) to swim in the pool. Because, It was very deep. And I'm not that totally know how to swim. Here are some pictures of the Guinsohotan falls <3 Photo credit by: ME <3 Cagnituan Cave <3 Before going to the cave, you need to swim in a very wide water first, It was deeper. We can't allowed to travel inside the cave, because we don't have a tourist guide and we don't have light. The Cagnituan cave has a flowing water all throughout its passages. I promised to my self that if we will going back here in Basak, I'm going to explore the cave <3 After 2 days, this is the END of my MAASIN ESCAPADE. It was fun, exciting, and memorable <3 Another first time in my life was fulfilled, to explore and to travel with my family together ! :) How sad I am when I'm saying my goodbye's with my friends, cousins, and my tito and tita's here :'( But this is just the start, I'm going back here, of course with my family, and my relatives. <3 Hi guys!
